The 2000s

Theres many things i can say about the 2000s. From astorm that devistated our nation to a war that some people think will never end to finally and wrapping the whole thing up with electing a black president  the 2000s where very eventful. Exsamples of the changes from the 1990s to the 2000s is how we have become dependant on technology to the point that almost everyone had a cell phone and everyone was connected to some sort of social networking site such as facebook, myspace, and twitter. The United States was a social country and still is. In the later 2000s the changing of the president came about with the up coming of senator Barack Obama. He was an illinois black senator that won the presidentsy in 2008 and enogerated in 2009 taking over for president George W. Bush. His election has gone down as the first black president of our country. technology in the 2000s was very modern and sort of a part of style. everyone had either a phone or and i pod touch or even both. laptops became more and more common for people to have. our country was also ingaged in a  war that took place in iraq. we had gotten envolved with it after we where attacked on september first 2001 when a terrorist organization had crashed two planes into the world trade center twin towers and a third plane into the pentagon. this was classified as an attack on american so we went into battle. this effected everyone in the United States and it was a huge tragidy. The 2000s where a very eventful and in someways progressive decade
